Shaun Monson is the founder of the independent production company Nation Earth. Monson is known for his documentary films “Earthlings” and “Unity,” which garnered the support of actor and activist Joaquin Phoenix, along with hundreds of other well-known celebrities. Nation Earth’s goal closely aligns with the Blue Horizon International Foundation’s mission, to accelerate the removal of animals from the global food chain.
Nation Earth was founded 1999. It’s first production, “Earthlings,” was a widely acclaimed success and educated many about what their food is about, and where it comes from. “Earthlings” has been translated into over 40 languages worldwide, and with millions of downloads online, has become one of the most influential documentaries ever made on the subject of animal rights. Nation Earth’s second film, “Unity,” is the sequel to “Earthlings,” and debuted in over 100 countries in a dozen languages. The company is currently producing two new films, which are slated to be released in 2019 and 2020.
